General Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions

Effective as at 3rd of November 2022

A beneficiary is a person who receives special support benefits. The sponsor is the person legally and/or financially responsible for the services provided to the beneficiary. The provider is MathSEco – Lina K. R. DJAZZAR.

ARTICLE 1 – General provisions

Special support sessions are held online (Zoom or Skype) during working days. It is the responsibility of the sponsor and beneficiary to ensure that sessions are scheduled sufficiently in advance. It is the responsibility of the provider to transmit the necessary administrative information to the beneficiary. The sponsor will assume all legal consequences related to the services provided to the beneficiary.

ARTICLE 2 – Duration of a meeting

The duration of a session is one hour. Unless explicitly agreed by the parties, any duration of less than one hour for the first hour shall be considered equivalent to one full hour. In the event of meetings of more than one hour, the additional time will be counted on the basis of actual time.

ARTICLE 3 – Group meetings / prepaid meetings

Group sessions are payable in advance. It is the responsibility of the sponsor and the beneficiary to schedule sessions prior to payment of the amount. Payment for meetings must be made 48 hours (or Fridays for Mondays) before the lesson at the latest. In the event of non-payment, meetings are cancelled.

ARTICLE 4 – Delays

Any delay on the part of the beneficiary is charged. Exceptions may be made in special cases with a valid justification. Any delay by the provider is, however, not charged.

ARTICLE 5 – Cancellations

For any session cancelled less than 24 hours in advance (or on Fridays for lessons on Mondays), the full amount of the scheduled time will be charged. A session cancelled at least 24 hours in advance is not charged (or on Fridays for lessons on Mondays). If a session is cancelled by the beneficiary or by the sponsor at least 24 hours in advance (or on Fridays for lessons on Mondays) or the provider is unable to attend, a replacement session is proposed. In the case of a prepaid lesson canceled on time and the contractual relationship ends definitively, the amount will be reimbursed.

ARTICLE 6 – Billing

Bills are sent by email to the sponsor at the beginning of the month for the previous month. They are payable on the 30th of the month following the meetings. The email address used for these invoices is info@mathseco.com.

ARTICLE 7 – Late payment

If payment is not made on time, a 10% reminder fee (5% default interest and 5% disbursement fee) will apply on the total invoice amount. If a registered mail has to be sent, the charge is on the part of the sponsor.

ARTICLE 8 – Communications on follow-up

Communications are made by e-mail to info@mathseco.com. The sponsor may at any time request any information about the beneficiary regarding the services provided. The request for information concerning the private sphere of the beneficiary, on the other hand, depends on the legal provisions in force and on professional secrecy.

ARTICLE 9 – Modifications

Any request for changes concerning the lessons must be sent in writing to: info@mathseco.com.

ARTICLE 10 – Guarantee of results

Beneficiaries’ performance and progress depend primarily on their personal investment and not on the services provided by the provider.

ARTICLE 11 – Change of conditions

Changes to the contractual terms and conditions may occur at any time without notice. They will be included in this document and available on this website at all times.
